WV Business Owner Becomes Founding Member of International Association

Debra J. "Debbie" Cunningham, President of Evergreen Business Strategies, Inc. of Williamstown, WV has become one of the founding members of the International Association of Women in Business Coaching. This prestigious new association formed by multi-million dollar master coach Kendall Summerhawk of Tucson, AZ, is on the radar as one of the most influential, up and coming associations worldwide .

“Kendall invited her Certified Money, Marketing and Soul coaches to become founding members of this new international coaching association,” commented Ms. Cunningham.   “There are only 35 Certified Money, Marketing and Soul Coaches in the world,” she continued. “I am very proud to be able to become a part of this extraordinary association that is poised to create a direct relationship to the emergence and success of entrepreneurs, small businesses, and solopreneurs across the United States and abroad,” she added.

“The continued emergence of new jobs will be created by entrepreneurs and small businesses. Today, more and more people are becoming employed by or creating their own small businesses as opposed to working for major corporations. This is because small businesses are structured to quickly take advantage of change and emerging opportunities which will be the key to their success in the new economy. I find this really exciting,” she said.

“To run a successful small business, owners must be capable of wearing many hats.   That is where the “new economy” ways of operating, marketing, financing, along with creating and streamlining systems is paramount in making small businesses successful,” she added.

“Members of the International Association of Women in Business Coaching help businesses with strategies and techniques to create sustainable business success. They help business owners think creatively and strategically about their business. This can help increase sales and profits, plan a blueprint to growing and/or expanding the business, boost clarity and focus time on the things that will help make the business grow,” she commented. “Over and over, we hear from business owners these three (3) dilemmas.

1.      They are overwhelmed with information and feel they need a trusted source to help them design and implement a business action plan to take their business to the next level.

2.      They understand that they need to consistently market their business, but don’t have the time or knowledge about how to do it.

3.      They are exhausted with just running their business and therefore cannot find the time or energy to juggle the responsibilities of growing their business.

As we go forward with recovery efforts, it is helpful to realize that according to the Small Business Administration small businesses produce 13-14 times more patents per employee than large patenting firms. Small businesses will be the driver for “green” growth within our economy.   And, women are leading the way in the development of new companies in all business sectors. With the current economy, more and more women are becoming business owners. Currently, there are an estimated 10 million women-owned, privately-held U.S. businesses.

Ms. Cunningham is the President and Principal of Evergreen Business Strategies, Inc., (www.evergreen-business-strategies.com). She is known as a “wealth-building partner”  and works with business professionals that want to make huge revenue leaps in their businesses.
