The National Association of Women MBAs has accepted Debra J. Cunningham, of Williamstown, West Virginia as a member of their esteemed national group. The National Association of Women MBAs is dedicated to empowering women with Master in Business Administration degrees (MBAs) in business, in order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation's workforce.
 
Ms. Cunningham received her M.B.A. from West Virginia University and her B.A. from Glenville State College where she graduated summa cum laude.   She earned both degrees while working full-time.
Ms. Cunningham’s ability in assessing market potential has led her to be coined as the "Pathfinder to Success". Ms. Cunningham is an innovative, creative and vividly perceptual business leader, as well as a talented, results oriented, business development professional. She is an expert relationship developer with a keen eye for up and coming business opportunities.  She is an accomplished business consultant in new product development, marketing, research and analysis, and financial turnarounds. Her specialty is in new revenue generation. Her innovative and vividly perceptual business ideas are ahead of the times, providing businesses with the unique opportunity to capitalize on new market trends directed at increasing profit margins.   
Over the years, Ms. Cunningham has many “firsts”. She was the Vice President, Newsletter Editor, and Program Chairwoman for her community’s first woman’s association. She was the area’s first Regional Network Director for the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), first PR Executive for the Academy of Medicine, appointed to the Board of Directors for her area’s largest summer concert event (The Parkersburg Homecoming), and was one of the co-founders of the Greater Parkersburg Area Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Women’s Conference. She started the first two investment groups in her community. She also was the Public Relations Chairwoman of the Greater Parkersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and appointed to the Board of Directors of Parkersburg Community College’s Management Institute.

The National Association of Women MBAs encourages the continued education and professional development of women in business by supporting the development of professional chapters, an annual national conference, and the publication of the Woman MBA magazine.  The national organization provides networking opportunities for professionals in business with organizations that are committed to the development of women's roles in business and facilitates increased communication and collaboration among graduate business school programs regarding their initiatives to educate and encourage women in business. 
Ms. Cunningham has always been a promoter of equality for women and the advancement of women to senior level positions. She is also a proponent of helping children become good citizens and helping them achieve their individual goals by giving them the necessary tools to achieve success no matter how each child defines his or her "success".    
The sustainable success of National Association of Women MBAS is dependent upon the active and effective efforts to integrate with women currently in graduate level business and business-related fields as well as with the women graduates of these programs.   The group seeks opportunities to develop professional careers in an increasingly competitive and dynamic corporate climate and provide opportunities and encourages women to take advantage of them.
